Unsigned, possibly Lancaster area gun. 1820-1840
This rifle, possibly built in the Lancaster area, has a nice 43” long 40 caliber straight barrel, about 7/8” across the flats. The rifle appears to have been built as a flintlock, but has since been converted to percussion. The rifle has a solid wrist repair that is barely noticeable. A nice rifle for the beginning collector or as a decorator at an attractive price $1,400 + S&H
