Early Bucks County Fowler/Fusil
This early smoothbore is copied directly from the only complete original work of E. Bloom. The gun has a custom 46” Getz 20 ga. barrel built to the exact dimensions of the barrel on the original. A Durs Egg lock by L & R and a single trigger nearly match those used on the original. The curly maple stock is carved in the same folksy fashion as the original, including the two “Liberty Cap” figures at the front of the lock plate and side plate. The fowler has a steel ram rod, as did the original. This piece is nicely aged to reflect the look of a well-cared for original.
